Spend the day with Mark Cornick on the West Sussex Coast, and learn the art of Intentional Camera Movement and experience the rejuvenating power of being at the Coast.

Getting Started
After a cup of tea and a chat, we can get started by working with groynes, sticks and some moving water. This will introduce you to using different shutter speeds and camera movements.
Working With Dunes
Once we are warmed up, the dunes of East Head are not only spectacular, but provide ample opportunity to create some stunning abstract images.
Mid Session Review
We can head back to the cafe to go over everything we have learnt in the first session, discuss any sticking points and do a mini image review of the work you have created so far.
Onto The Main Beach
We can finish our day by heading down to the main beach to put into practice everything we have learnt. The main beach never fails to impress and I will ensure we have an optimal tide pattern to work with.

WEST WITTERING
Based on the stunning West Sussex beach of West Wittering, you will learn how to use the technique of Intentional Camera Movement to create striking, ethereal and abstract interpretations of your surroundings.
Mark will go into detail on how to set your camera up for this type of photography, and will share his knowledge on the best techniques and movements for capturing effective images.
Mindfulness is an important part of his approach to the day. He will encourage you to make the most of being in this stunning location, and to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the coast.
Hopefully, you will end the session not only armed with the knowledge of how to make great images, but also feeling rejuvenated, mentally and physically.
THE ART OF ABSTRACTION
There is more to West Wittering then wide angle compositions, and Mark will encourage you to seek out some finer details and more intimate scenes.
Mark will always encourage you to experiment with technique, which will include intentional camera movement, in-camera multiple exposure and shallow depth of field.
There will be a strong emphasis on seeking out compositions which make the best use of the available light, shapes, colours and textures.
Expect a day of creativity, inspiration, laughter and support, all set within a relaxed atmosphere
