FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY BOOKS
Through intentional camera movement, multiple exposure and experimentation, my two photography books explore what happens when photography is released from the constraints of conventional representation. ETHEREAL and STRING THEORY transform elements of the natural world into abstract studies of movement, colour, texture and light - embracing the unpredictable nature of the creative process.
ETHEREAL
Impressionistic interpretations of the Coast.
ETHEREAL is the culmination of eight years of my exploration of abstraction, and in particular the technique of intentional camera movement.
STRING THEORY
A visual exploration into botanical abstract photography, introducing in-camera multiple exposure alongside intentional camera movement.
Embracing unpredictable outcomes from different movements.
